In the Eastern Pacific, (#1) Tropical Storm Andres has winds of 45mph, gusting to 60mph, with a pressure of 1001mbars. Movement is Northeast at 2mph. Is expected to dissipate by late today or tomorrow. Not a threat to land. (#2) Major Hurricane Blanca has winds of 125mph, gusting to 155mph, with a pressure of 950mbars. Movement is Southwest at 1mph. Is expected to regain major category 4 intensity later today or tomorrow. Blanca will impact the Southern portion of the Baja California Peninsula as a weakening hurricane late Saturday through Monday. The Northern Mexican Coastline and the Baja California Peninsula will be impacted by high waves, rough surf, rip currents, heavy rains, and gusty winds. (#3) A low pressure area could form over the weekend or early next week a few hundred miles South of the coasts of El Salvador and Guatemala. Environmental conditions are expected to be conducive for some slow development of the system while it moves toward the North or Northwest.
